Service Project for Haiti

Haiti is in need of your help! Expecting mothers of Haiti need birthing kits.

What is a birthing kit you ask? Great question! It is a goody bag of medical supplies that help mothers during delivery. Many families in Haiti cannot afford to pay for a hospital visit so these kits allow them to have safe home births.

We will be working with an organization called Stella Marina. Hang around after Thursday Night Supper (TNS) or stop by the chapel around 7:30pm. Volunteers from Stella Marina will teach us a bit about their experience with the birthing conditions in Haiti and then we will need MANY hands to pack over 400 kits!

You can learn more about Stella Marina here: http://stellamarina.org/
